Re-discovered fanship

So, it's been like a week and a half since my last post, but I gotta say; I'm impressed I kept it up this long! I mean sure, it's fun, but I tend to quit things after just a short period of time. If you look at my youtube channel you'll see, but it's like that with a lot of things: sketching, photography, basketball, studying (but hey, who doesn't quit that?) and probably some other things too. It's not like I quit absolutely everything I start, but even so, I'd like to change my quitters-mentality. Well, I guess I díd have a new years resolution, I just didn't know about it..

I've been pretty depressed these past couple of days, and pretty much the only thing that kept me standing (especially today) is my music. Not all of those over-excited happy songs, but not the close-to-depression kind either. It's been the music by The Corrs that got me through! I just recently started listening to them agian and their songs just remind me of my childhood. Yes, "the good old days". I know how it sounds, but to me, it just gives me a feeling of happiness.

The reason it reminds me of my childhood, is most likely because my dad had this CD of The Corrs. And when we were in the car for a long time, he'd put it on. Those times we were driving for a really long time, we were going to my grandparents' holiday-house (Dutchies will understand) in Austria. I loved it there as a kid, still do, but then it just meant seeing my entire family and get to spent time with them. Memories.

I started writing this blog being totally depressed, but now, remembering all of these things, I almost feel happy. Life isn't so bad, you just have to know where you've been and where you want to go. That last part I'll get to next time. And with this, I end this post: Just cherish your good memories and throw the bad ones out, you'll be fine.
